Impact story

St. Tisan Creative Academy is a learning community where children come each day to gain knowledge, build friendships, and prepare for a better future. The school had inadequate toilet facilities for the number of pupils using it each day, making toilet access difficult, particularly during busy school hours. 

Some pupils were forced to wait for long periods before finding a suitable place, while the poor sanitation conditions made it harder to maintain a clean learning environment. Teachers struggled to reinforce hygiene lessons without the facilities needed to make those lessons practical. 

The construction of a new toilet facility by Lifewater has brought welcome relief to the school. Pupils now have access to a safer and more appropriate place, and the new toilet has provided comfort, dignity, and a healthier setting for learning.
