Impact Story

In Agyaragu-Koro village, the lack of proper toilets forces many residents to go into the bushes to defecate. This practice exposed residents to serious dangers. Many people, especially women and children, were at risk of infections due to poor hygiene. In addition, going into the bush often led to encounters with snakes and scorpions. There were cases where individuals were bitten, creating fear and making a basic need feel dangerous. Lifewater stepped in to construct modern toilet facilities within the community. This toilet provided a safe and hygienic alternative, eliminating the need to go into the bush. Today, residents can use clean and secure toilets without fear. The people sincerely appreciate Lifewater for this life-changing intervention, which has brought safety and dignity, to their village.
