N23-R105 Angwan Gwandara Tufa

Children and women bear the burden of carrying heavy gallons of water from a distant river in The Angwan Gwandara Tufa Community. In the dry season, when the water scarcity is particularly severe and intense, women would walk over four kilometers, often with babies on their backs. 

Our intervention has brought relief and joy to the inhabitants of Angwan Gwandara Tufa because it has drastically reduced the time used in searching for water and given them readily available access to safe water for free.
