WE ARE LIFEWATER
Dawaki Tsetsigya Gawu is a community in Niger State with severe water shortage.
About 80 percent of the residents draw water from an open pond that is equally accessible to domestic animals. Animal excreta dissolved in the pond usually find their way to different homes, where it is used untreated.
With the rehab of the broken hand pump, safe water is available for every home.
