Saipuhu Gwari Babba community has experienced severe water shortages for three years.

The cry to the government for rehab of their hand pump went on deaf ears during this period.

A few well-to-do residents have been able to dig their wells, but many in the community still depend on a distant river for water. Our intervention is all about lifting the vulnerable and looking beyond social status. During our visit, we repair their hand pump to ease the water scarcity in the community.
