N23-R067 Kokokpali Community

For many years the Kokokpali community has struggled with insufficient supply and unhealthy water. The women and children walk long distances to fetch water from the river. Sometimes it takes them 6 to 7 hours to draw enough water for the family. It means; the women deprive themselves of going to the farm where they get their daily food.

School pupils are also affected because they attend school late most times after going to fetch water from the river.

During our visit, the Mai Angwan of the community was glad about the donation. He says, “It can only be God who can send help, just when needed. God will bless the initiators of this project, and they will never lack.”
