Impact story
Kpache Bassa is a close-knit community in Abaji Area Council of FCT Abuja, where families earn a living through farming and small daily activities.
The community relied on open streams and open wells covered with green algae and shared with animals, making the water unsafe. The contaminated water caused children to develop painful rashes and led to frequent sickness among adults, casting a shadow of worry over the community. Lifewater stepped into the community and drilled a brand-new borehole, providing a safe and reliable source of water for everyone. The shift brought healing to homes, reducing illness and restoring vitality. Residents can now access clean water close to their homes, and health conditions have greatly improved.
