Impact Story

Believer High School is one of the growing schools in Lafia East, where students from different nearby communities come daily to learn. The school environment was active and full of young people, but for a long time, one major problem affected both learning and sanitation within the school. The school had no proper toilet facility. Because of this, students practiced open defecation around nearby bushes and open spaces behind the school. This not only created an unpleasant and unhygienic atmosphere but also caused a persistent foul smell that disrupted learning and made the school environment uncomfortable. Female students suffered the most, as they lacked privacy and often struggled to stay comfortable throughout the school day. Lifewater stepped in to build modern, hygienic toilets for Believer High School. The new facilities provided students with safe and private spaces, improving sanitation, and the overall school environment. Since construction, the school has become cleaner and healthier, boosting student morale and attendance. The community is grateful to Lifewater for this transformative project, which supports education and wellbeing by promoting dignity and good health among students.
