Impact story
Amuzhibiri is a rural community in Paikoro Local Government Area of Niger State, surrounded by farmlands, rocky paths, and patches of thick vegetation. The people faced a difficult time after their ageing borehole became damaged and unusable.
Forced to rely on a nearby natural water source, the community suffered greatly as the water was unsafe, causing sickness among both the young and old. The struggle for water brought pain and hardship, deeply affecting the health and wellbeing of the villagers.
Hope arrived when Lifewater stepped in to rehabilitate the old system and restored a reliable source of safe water to the community. Families are healthier, and the burden of depending on an unsafe water source has been lifted.
