Stephen Jimoh, a resident of the Kiyi community, thanked Lifewater for the rehab. He said, “Most times, we fetch water from a river. The river water is dirty and unsafe as many have fallen sick from drinking the water.”

When the government water supply is available it is usually for a short time. The dirty river has been the primary source of water for residents of Kiyi.

With the rehabilitation done, safe water is now available at all times.
