N23-R104 Central Pri. Sch. Tufa

For about nine months, the children in Central Primary School Tufa lacked water to drink. The children depended on uncovered hand dugs wells that were quite unsafe and dangerous. The likelihood of school children falling inside the hand-dug well is high. The inadequate safe water and sanitation have made many children miss school due to ill health. 

The repair and rehab of the school’s two hand pumps will significantly spur the children to outstanding academic achievement and tame the tide of infections in the school.
