For years, the NNPC Depot Suleja community has had to contend with slow development and the absence of social amenities. Water has been one of the community’s significant challenges.  

Usman from the community narrated the community’s ordeal with unsafe water. He says, “We get our water from vendors, which not everyone can afford. The river source is also not safe for consumption. In addition, water has led to skin conditions such as eczema and rashes.” 

He added, “We are delighted that we have good and safe water through the support of Lifewater Canada. May God bless, protect and provide all your needs.”
