Women and children are at the wrong end of the water scarcity in the Angwan Awala Sarki Hausawa community. The long trek to the community river comes with different hazards, from snake attacks to assaults from bandits.  

Every day a girl child and women wake up in the community with fear of attacks precipitated by water scarcity. Our intervention goes beyound water provision to fear/anxiety reduction for women and children.
